NAIOP's Developing Leaders (DL) program is the catalyst you’ve been looking for to propel your career to the next level. We provide the tools, networking and resources you need to gain that competitive edge. If you are a commercial real estate professional who’s 35 or under, your DL community can take you from where you are now, to where you want to be!

What We Do...

DL Mentor Program

The NAIOP Colorado DL Mentor Program is designed to match a limited number of mentees (aged 35 years or under) with a highly experienced industry professional, who will provide mentees the opportunity to learn different aspects of the real estate industry. In addition, mentors will share career and professional advice in an effort to develop your ability to succeed in life and in the real estate industry.

Real Estate Project Tours

Informative tours of a various real estate projects led by the developers, owners and architects who share their vision and talk candidly about the successes and challenges of their respective developments. Past events have incorporated Bike Bar Project Tours in and around Denver for a fresh take on touring.  

Skiing with the Icons
A modern twist on "Dinner with the Icons." Icons are veteran Denver real estate professionals and NAIOP members from various industries who are proven to be commendable leaders in their field.  In 2014 we decided to take advantage of Colorado's beautiful geography and create a fresh event, where Icons and Developing Leaders (age 35 and under) spend a full day skiing at Arapahoe Basin, networking, enjoying a private catered breakfast, and Apres ski event, plus round-trip chartered bus services.  This is where DL's get one on one time with the "Icons" of the commercial real estate industry in Colorado, as well as the opportunity to expand their professional network. This event is typically held in late March, early April.

NAIOP Colorado DL's Community Volunteer Day
Active and consistent volunteer day's throughout the calendar year feature a call to the NAIOP Colorado membership including our full contact list to participate in various community driven needs. Events have provided outreach to the Denver Rescue Mission, Denver Parks & Rec, Food Bank of the Rockies, and more...
