We have made a number of structural changes in an effort to add more value to an already indispensable program.  Our goal with these improvements is to elevate the program and NAIOP Colorado as a whole.  We are striving to assist Developing Leader participants to advance their own real estate career, and set a precedence for helping the upcoming real estate professional establish their foothold in this dynamic industry. We are hopeful this will lead to superior member involvement, and illustrate the importance in being involved in NAIOP Colorado - Where Deals Get Done TM

  • Small Class Size & Highly Selective - Only 15 to 20 applicants are selected to participate.
  • Tailored Fit - A selected mentor is recruited for each participant based off their application, interview, goals, and work history.
  • Graduation Requirements - In order to graduate from the program, an applicant must at least attend all programs and events, and meet with their mentor on a monthly basis.
  • Program & Events: A number of events and programs are created each year as an opportunity to network not only with your mentor but other mentors/mentees in the program as well.

Total Program Cost: $500 ($1,500 VALUE) - Price includes all group meals, events, and training's.

Mentee Application Process:

In order to apply, participants must be under the age of 35 and have an active NAIOP Colorado membership.  Additionally participants must:

  • Fill out an application and pay $50 application fee.
  • Complete an in-person interview with admissions staff.
  • We will contact only those applicants in which a mentor has been identified.  We strive to provide only strong pairings.

Interested in shaping the future of the industry? The NAIOP Colorado Mentor Program is designed to match a limited number of mentees with highly experienced industry professionals, who will provide mentees with the opportunity to learn different aspects of the real estate industry.  In addition, mentors will share career and professional advise to help mentees succeed in life and in the real estate industry.  In order to apply, participants must have an active NAIOP Colorado membership.

Important Dates:

It is an exciting time of year as we are about to kick-off our new and improved Developing Leaders’ Mentor / Mentee Program. This program will be a stepping stone for our emerging leaders to get connected to the greater NAIOP chapter. The program provides one –to – one mentorship as well as educational programs and training by a nationally recognized presentations coach. 

We are looking for companies that would be interested in sponsoring the program. We are accepting sponsorship commitments in the amount of $1,500 for Sustaining Sponsor (4 Available), $3,000 for Kick-Off Sponsor (1 Available), $3,000 for Wrap-Up Sponsor (1 Available).  As a sponsor of this premiere commercial real estate program, you will have the opportunity to mix and mingle with the hand-selected Developing Leaders’ class as well as their mentors which includes owners, developers, and top performing brokers. 

Sponsorship includes admission to the kick-off and wrap-up events your company’s logo and recognition at upcoming NAIOP events such as the Mid-Year Economic Forecast.  We hope you will consider becoming involved in the NAIOP Mentor/Mentee Program and look forward to partnering with you to benefit the success of our rising commercial real estate stars.
